Department of Business Law
- The aims and objectives of the department of business law is to orient students, about the legal aspects of trade and commerce.
- To provide the brief idea about the framework of Indian Business Laws.
- To familiarize the students with case law studies related to Business Laws.
- Starting Law Association.
- Law library for reference books and law journals.
- Legal Advice Centre for students & college teachers.
- Intensive coaching centre for students to prepare them for law courses.
- Visits to High Court and Consumer Courts.
- Case Study & Moot court.
The Department with its one faculty member has strength of 788 students and 6 divisions. It offers one paper as ‘Business Law’ in the Semester III and IV comprising with different Acts which includes all the commercial laws viz ..Indian Contract Act, The Sale of goods Act, The Negotiable Instrument (Amendment) Act 2015, Indian Companies Act, Indian Partnership Act , Consumer Protection Act and Competition Act, Limited Liability Act, Intellectual Property Rights, Competition Act, , etc. and also enabling the students with the opportunity to make career in laws.
